About the Author:
Vandana Sood, a postgraduate in English, currently heads the English department at Starex International School, Vasundhara Enclave, Delhi. In 1996, the Lion's Club, Delhi, honoured her with the Best Teacher Award. With a teaching experience of more than 25 years, she is well acquainted with the challenges of English language teaching in Indian situations.

Chandra Nisha Singh has a Master's in English Literature, and an M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Comparative Indian Literature from the University of Delhi. She is a Senior Reader in the Department of English at Lakshmibai College, Delhi. She has worked on a series of textbooks in English for primary and secondary classes. She is also one of the editors of the SCERT English textbooks.
