About the Authors:
Wil McKnight - He is a writer and third-generation publisher, primarily in the areas of supervisory training, vocational education, and work study. He began at the age of 10 by counting out and filling orders for outline maps, and for nearly 25 years, he published the Associated General Contractors of America's supervisory training programs.
He has a B.A. from Carnegie Mellon (back when they called it Carnegie Tech) and an M.B.A. from Stanford. He's written several self-study books and checklists for construction supervisors that are used by national building trades unions and contractors of every size, including companies in the ENR 400. He's lived in Normal, IL; Pittsburgh; New York City; Palo Alto; and Hollywood Hills.
Elwood N. Chapman - After 29 years of successful college teaching, the late Elwood Chapman retired in 1977 as a professor at Chaffey College and a visiting lectures at Claremont Graduate School. He was graduate of the University of California. "Chap" was also a co-founder of Crisp Publications and was author of more than a dozen books published by Crisp.
