About the Author:
Nigel Barber, Ph.D., an evolutionary psychologist and writer, received a Ph.D. in biopsychology from Hunter College of the City University of New York. Dr. Barber taught psychology at Bemidji State University of Minnesota and later at Birmingham-Southern College. Currently a freelance writer and researcher, he has published other reference titles in the science and articles in a number of peer-reviewed scholarly journals.
