Review of the book:
“Dr Zaira Khan’s Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Empowerment of Women stands out for its insightful coverage of all the relevant aspects of Gender justice in Islam with a particular reference to the sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), which are to be emulated by all Muslims as part of their faith. Remarkably, within the Islamic World View, this book enables readers to grasp a full appreciation of the kind of equality, dignity, and exalted status which the Quran and Sunnah confer upon women.
Dr Khan’s book eloquently describes how some unIslamic practices have befogged certain minds about the status of women in Islam. Recognizes the distinction between male and female yet it insists on gender parity. Dr Khan deserves credit for presenting the Islamic stance on gender equality and women empowerment in a reader-friendly and authentic way.”
