About the Author:
Kochouseph Chittilappilly holds a Master’s Degree in Physics. He started V-Gaurd, at the age of 27, which now deals in various electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical products and the total turnover of group companies for the finanacial year 2010-11 was above 820 crores. In year 2000 he started an amusement park ‘Veega Land’, in Kerala and then ‘Wonderla’ in Bangalore, which is the biggest amusement park in India. Kochouseph Chittilappilly is the recipient of numerous awards, which were bestowed on him for his exemplary performance in business. He was also chosen as the Manorama – Newsmaker of the Year 2011. His book Practical Wisdom… in Real Life & Management which exemplifies effective ways of practical management in business as well as real life, which he learned from personal experience and Ormakilivathil (Malayalam) – A true life memoir of his younger days. Kochouseph likes to spend a good amount of his time in philanthropic activities. Along with a charitable institution based in Kerala, The Kidney Federation of India, Kochouseph formed a kidney chain-the first of its kind in India. His hobbies include listening to music, reading and watching documentaries in informative channels.
