About the Authors:
Kumar Kartikey Yadav obtained his B.Sc. degree in 2009 from Ewing Christian College, Allahabad University and M.Sc. degree in 2011 from Delhi University in organic chemistry. After completing his M.Sc., he joined Professor S.M.S. Chauhan's research group and worked on the Synthesis and Catalytic Applications of Metallophthalocyanines and Ionic Liquids. He was awarded with Junior Research Fellowship and Senior Research Fellowship by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. He received his Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry from the University of Delhi, Delhi, in 2016. During his M.Sc. and Ph.D., he had taught organic chemistry and biochemistry to IIT JAM and IIT JEE students for six years. In April 2016, he joined Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India, as Examiner of Patents & Designs, Group-A Gazetted and is currently posted in Delhi. He is currently examining the various patents filed by different scientists, professors and industries of India and abroad.
Uma Narang did her schooling with physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM). She completed her B.Sc. (Hons.) (2010) in chemistry and M.Sc. (2012) in organic chemistry from Hindu College, University of Delhi. In 2012 she joined Department of Chemistry as CSIR-Junior Research Fellow (JRF) which further got promoted to Senior Research Fellow (SRF). She received her Ph.D. degree in 2018 from the University of Delhi in organic chemistry on ?Synthesis, Reactions and Applications of Selected Newer Functional Porphyrinoids?. She also worked as an assistant professor at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, for one year. Presently, she is assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, Shivaji College, University of Delhi.
