About the Author:
Dr. Shandler is president of Shandler Associates, a consulting firm that focuses on managing and motivating Millennials and assisting technical experts in transitioning into management and leadership roles. He has extensive experience working with multigenerational learners and knowledge workers in corporate, government, university, and association settings.
Holding a Ph.D. from Ohio State University, Shandler serves on the Board of Directors for the Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board, the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Instructional Systems Design Graduate Program. He is an alumnus of Leadership Fairfax and a recipient of the 2009 Outstanding Committee Chairperson Award from the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce.
Previous books include From Technical Specialist to Supervisor, Reengineering the Training Function: How to Align Training with the New Corporate Agenda, and Competency and the Learning Organization. Further, he has presented seminars and speeches on these and other relevant topics nationwide.
