About the Authors:
Adrian Flynn graduated from IT Sligo with a BSc in Occupational Safety & Health having previously obtained a Diploma in Science (Safety, Health and Industrial Hygiene). Prior to joining Phoenix Safety, Adrian worked in the field of health & safety within the pharmaceutical/ medical devices and healthcare sectors for several years. He is an experienced trainer and safety advisor, with a particular interest in Human Factors Engineering and Manual Handling. Adrian also has experience in auditing, and the implementation of IS0 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems. Adrian is a member of the lnstitute of Occupational Safety and Health.
John Shaw graduated from Dublin lnstitute of Technology with a BSc in Environmental Health and has worked with a government agency as an Environmental Health Officer. John completed a MBS in Safety and Health at Work at Dublin City University. Prior to joining Phoenix Safety, John also worked as a Health and Safety Consultant Trainer with a similar company. He is an experienced trainer and safety advisor, with a particular interest in Environmental Health and Behavioural Safety. John is a member of the lnstitute of Occupational Safety and Health.
