About the Author:
Dr H. S. Govinda Rao holds a PhD degree in applied mathematics. He has been teaching mathematics to undergraduate and postgraduate students for more than 16 years besides guiding candidates for M Phil and PhD degrees. He has written twelve textbooks on engineering mathematics and number of research papers which have been published in international journals, and also presented several papers in the National Conferences. He has also presented papers in the International Conferences not only in India but also in the USA, Malaysia and South Africa. Presently, he is serving as Professor and Head of Department of Mathematics & Research Centre in computational mathematics, Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
