Today's organization is under siege in one sense and facing incredible opportunity in another. The word empowerment is more than a buzzword; it is a term that describes a powerful way of thinking about the workplace. It is a way of doing things to give individuals a role that allows them to make the whole the organization run better. It builds teams who work together to improve performance continually. It structures an organization in such a way that each person feels he or she can achieve results and make a difference.
