G.K.Rathod has a Master of Commerce degree from Gujarat University. He has worked for more than 30 years in various departments of the Government of Gujarat. He was Deputy Secretary and Financial Advisor to the Government of Gujarat and also worked as a Consultant in the Development Support Agency of Gujarat. At present he is Law Officer in the Gujarat Government.
G.K. Rathod has contributed articles on democracy and civil society to major national newspapers.
