Sajid Shaffi has been pursuing his Ph.D. on the "Orientalists" English Translations of the Qur'an: with Special Reference to Alan Jones' (2007) at the Department of Islamic Studies, Aligarh Muslim 'University. He has also compiled a bibliography entitled 21st Century Quranic Studies in English: A Bibliography published by Viva Books (2018) in collaboration with K.A. Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (India).
