About the Author:
Dr. Pawan Kumar Konda, from Visakhapatnam, secured Rank 145 in the Civil Services Examination 2009 and is an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service of the 2010 batch, who is posted as Dy Director of Audit in the Office of the Director General of Audit (Economic and Service Ministries), New Delhi. Pawan holds the national distinction of having qualified for JRF at the UGC-NET in 5 different subjects ??? History, Political Science, Public Administration, International & Area Studies and Sociology. In brief, he has achieved these distinctions of clearing 3 Public Service Examinations (2 APPSC and 1 UPSC), qualifying for JRF at UGC-NET for 5 subjects and completing 3 PG degrees in History, Political Science and Sociology, between the years 2003-04 to 2009-10. In addition to the above, in the arena of literary extra-curricular events, the author is the winner of 12 National Level Prizes, 17 State Level Prizes and 83 Inter-Collegiate/Inter-School Level Prizes in Elocution, Debate, Essay Writing and Quiz. The author is also the winner of the First Pro-Chancellor's Gold Medal for the First Ranker in Bachelor of Arts at the 73rd Convocation of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
